Lake Central Class of 1988 is hosting a 20 year reunion!The invitations are out. If you have not received the electronic invitation, please go to the evite to RSVP and reserve your tickets:  SCHEDULE:Friday night is a casual get together starting with a home LC football game starting at 7:00 PM. Cheer on the Indians as they try to trounce LaPorte HS! After the game, we're all meeting at Northwoods Lounge (right across the street from the high school) for cocktails. The physical address is 8101 US 41, St. John, IN. The band scheduled for that night so far is Poker Face.Saturday night is our main event consisting of buffet dinner stations, dancing, and plenty of socializing and nostalgia starting at 6:30 PM. Attire is Country Club Casual....no jeans allowed, but no ties or fancy gowns necessary. We’re having it at Munster Centennial Park Clubhouse. It’s at the northeast corner of Calumet Avenue and Columbia Avenue in Munster. The physical address is on Centennial Park Drive, but most navigation systems don’t have that street in their databases yet. Use “10000 Calumet Ave, Munster, IN 46321” if you map it with MapQuest or Yahoo Maps. It’s a brand new facility on a lake setting with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Let’s hope for good weather so we can spend some time out on their balcony and patio. Sunday afternoon will be a family picnic day at County Line Orchard in Hobart. Pack your own picnic or buy food at the orchard. We’ll meet as a group for lunch at 12:00. After lunch everyone can explore the orchard: pick apples, get lost in the corn maze, visit the petting, etc. Visit their website at http://www.countylineorchard.com for more information on all there is to do there. COSTS:Friday – $5 entrance fee for the football game payable at the door. Northwoods entrance is free if you get there by 9:00. After 9:00 they have a cover charge of $5 payable at the door.Saturday – $55 per person payable by check. We’ll have an all-you-can-eat buffet and a cash bar. Detailed payment information is available on the Evite. Sunday – Free picnic (bring your own food or buy it at the orchard). There are several activities available, and each of these has a nominal fee ranging from $3 to $5. They also have packages that combine activities....choose whatever you want to do (if anything) and pay at the ticket booth there.
